HOMEFRONT

NAMI Cape Cod & The Islands offers a free program, called Homefront, for families or support persons of Service Members and Veterans living with mental health conditions. The program was developed by Teri Brister, Ph.D., and Suzanne Robinson, M.S.W. It is a 6 session course during which you will learn about crises, problem-solving, communication, self-care, access to federal, state, and local services, and be informed on the latest research on mental health, understanding treatments, therapies, and medications. You will also learn how to navigate challenges and the impact of mental health on the family. Most importantly, you will be with others who face similar challenges. You are not alone.

To learn more and find out about upcoming classes, call Kim Lemmon, Director of Family Programs, at 508-778-4277, or email at klemmon@namicapecod.org.
